Brent Schroeder

David was the ideal student-athlete. He was a great teammate, hard worker, and was a leader amongst the entire student-athlete population. He was highly involved in Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), as well as the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC). Not only was David passionate about the game of football, but he also had a passion to use his platform to make an impact in the Abilene community. As a part of his involvement with SAAC, he lead a partnership with the Make A Wish Foundation to fulfill the wish of a local young girl. David took full advantage of his time as a student-athlete. His hard work and diligence at ACU gave him a solid foundation for pursuing his career in intercollegiate athletics. He will be a valuable asset to any athletic department or company that is lucky enough to snag him!

Payton Williams

David did an excellent job as the student-athlete representative for his conference. He was a great communicator and very aware of the pertinent issues regarding NCAA legislation and SAAC's role within Division II governance.
