  UBC Solar is a multidisciplinary design team made up of undergraduate and graduate students. We build full-scale solar electric vehicles in order to compete in international competitions against teams from other universities.As manager, I coordinate the various project groups and oversee the integration of subsystems into a cohesive design. I have also contributed to the design & implementation of our motor, motor controller, battery management system, driver interface, and various other mechanical & electrical components.

  Generate is a mobile-centred tool for creating audiovisual artwork. Our goal is to provide a simple and powerful way to access a variety of modern art techniques, including audio reactivity and dramatic photo and video effects. In addition, we provide professional software that enables audience interaction at concerts, festivals, or other events.I work primarily on our iOS client, which is used by thousands of people every day. I review contributions from other team members, build new features, refactor to improve code quality, and fix bugs. In addition to my work on the iOS codebase, I often spent time working on our backend system. I have written code to migrate large amounts of data to new schemas, written interfaces to our iOS, Android, and desktop clients, and improved the security of sensitive user information.
