Dave is an intelligent, inquisitive, energetic and accomplished individual...truly a Renaissance man in so many ways. It is rare that you run across someone that can be as technical and detail-oriented as Dave is and yet make time for music and outdoor activities. He excels at all. Dave has been the inspiration behind many interesting and cutting edge projects here and it is my good fortune to have worked with him in advancing our organizational and institutional mission. Performance support solutions, business intelligence coupled with expert knowledge of an amazing number of applications, make Dave a rare resource in this global technology-driven economy. I highly recommend Dave and am more than willing to discuss his accomplishments with anyone interested. Richard

Dave is the real deal. He has outstanding technical depth and software engineering aplomb while at the same time never forgetting the importance of the relationship and personal connection with those he works for and with. Indeed a rare combination.

I started my career as a 98G Linguist (German and Korean) Cryptological Warfare Signals Intercept Analyst and Jammer. I was the distinguished graduate of my BIT course. I worked low-level voice intercept in both foot-infantry and motorized units. I fielded the first AN/TSQ-138 Trailblazer automated/networked radio direction finding and intercept system in Korea and ran acceptance testing and team training on the new system. In November 1990 I was recognized as the I Corps and 9th Infantry Division NCO of the Year and accompanied CSM Kidd (later CSMA Richard M. Kidd) to the AUSA convention during preparations for Operation Desert Storm. In 1991 I took an offer to transition from "green" to "gold" and direct transferred to an ROTC unit stationed in Seattle University while I attended my final two years at University of Washington - Tacoma. I graduated with honors and as the DMG (Distinguished Military Graduate) through affiliated Seattle University where I taught Military Science 102. Thereafter I immediately transferred to the Joint Readiness Training Center (JRTC), Fort Polk, LA and commanded the Analysis Control Element (ACE) Platoon and deployed to Haiti in Operation Defend Freedom as the Battlefield Intelligence Collection Coordinator (BICC). I was assistant Regimental S2 of the 2d Armored Cavalry Regiment ( 2d ACR) of the XVIII Airborne Corps. I transitioned from military to civilian in pursuit of an appointment at the Idaho National Laboratory and resigned my commission as a Captain after serving another 7 years in the Inactive Ready Reserve. I retained my Top Secret / Special Compartmentalized Information (TS/SCI) clearance from 1985 through 2003 and have no barrier to regaining access should duties require clearance.
