I achieved national, regional and local coverage on radio, press and online before departure. I continued to do interviews throughout my trip and secured additional coverage in Turkey, Malaysia and Australia. I have raised over €5,000 for Cancer and Suicide prevention. All the funds raised went to the two charities and the expedition was funded entirely by me and with the help of some generous sponsors. I raised the charitable funds by organising events and online donations by friends, family and followers of the expedition.
