Nathan Baumeister
I have known Dave most of my adult life. He and i have frequently collaborated and helped out each other through various different phases of business growth. He has the intellect, skill, knowledge, and experience that is required to build, fund, and exit tech businesses. He always has new and fresh ideas, is amazingly open to feedback and learning, and has a deep desire to succeed. Dave and I had a chance to collaborate directly with Towny, and I hope to have the chance to do it again in the future.
Tom Loveland
Dave is one of the most creative and savvy business entrepreneurs and growth masters I have had an opportunity to work with. Through our own successful startup journey, to advice and consultations, he has proven time and time again to be on the leading edge of knowledge and action to grow a successful business.

Yocal helps local businesses compete with the marketing of their corporate and franchised competition by banding them together on a co-marketing platform. In less than a year, Bobby & Dave rallied entire communities and architected a proprietary go-to-market channel for Yocal in the form of the fastest growing, most impactful "support local" movement ever. The duo recently completed a 68 city #KLAacrossAmerica road trip starting in Sarasota, FL and ending in Seattle, WA. My older (more talented) brother and I initially launched as a web design and marketing service for local businesses. We eventually brought on a 3rd brother (Shane Loveland), another incredible co-founder (Chad Francis) and at one point had spun off three separate successful companies: [io]web (web design), [io]webmaster (marketing), [io]dev (custom dev shop). Once we got a taste for venture-funded technology startups and started pursuing that path, we consolidated the companies… Show more My older (more talented) brother and I initially launched as a web design and marketing service for local businesses. My dad deserves the credit for this business. As a side hobby when I was in high school, he figured out a new, innovative process for manufacturing and fabricating our own solid surface material. He also built his own shop! He let me come turn it from a side business of about 1-2 projects per month into a full blown counter top business doing 3-4 projects per week with a year. I was unbelievably naïve in building my first business, but the one thing I am forever proud of was the marketing strategy we executed that ramped us up to $500K in our first full year. This experience showed me I have a knack and a true passion for local business marketing. I was lucky enough to partner with my brother Shane and our childhood friend, Dalin. We also lucked out in hiring Tony Preator who bought and still runs the business today! Show less My dad deserves the credit for this business. I love startup/small business, but it was extremely valuable experience for me to work at a large software company. I was a lowly tester but gained valuable insight into how great software is built, tested, and released. I was really blessed to work at an HR Consultancy firm in Brazil helping with translation, graphic design, and even a custom Microsoft Access Database to manage their clients, projects, and proposals. After my counter top business I set out on a world adventure to learn Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, French, and German. I did get the Mexico/Spanish leg of the journey done but met a Brazilian while there. I studied Portugues sin Rio and then he invited me to come work at his company… Show more I was really blessed to work at an HR Consultancy firm in Brazil helping with translation, graphic design, and even a custom Microsoft Access Database to manage their clients, projects, and proposals.
