I have used David for selection purposes for many years and with several different organisations. However, it is the numerous critical roles I have had to fill that I have always called upon his incredible assessment abilities. He takes the time up front to really understand the needs, plan and execute a thorough, pragmatic, and expert approach. I have lost count of how many times he has been able to tell me exactly what a candidate would be like in 6 months time, both in terms of their behaviour and their abilities. He hasn't been wrong yet! Whenever necessary, he has always told me in advance about any development and coaching needs for the successful individuals that I have hired, which makes onboarding so much easier for both the new candidate and the existing team. I honestly can't recommend him enough. I always enjoy working with him, as a psychologist myself, it is so interesting and a real learning experience to see just how skilled someone can become when their work is also like their calling in life. I have had many conversations with David about this and I believe him when he says he does not look at what he does as work, in the classic 9-5 sense. Yes, he puts a lot of time and effort into what he does, but he genuinely seems to enjoy it. In my experience of hiring David, it really doesn't matter how different the industry sectors are or how diverse the roles are, it's always been an extremely worthwhile investment in people, utilising David's experience and expertise. What makes my experience with David truly unique and personal is the fact that he carried out a series of full psychometric assessments (16PF5/6, EQi/ECR and Hogan Assessments – HPI, HDS and MVPI) with me twice over the course of my career, but with an interval of ten years in between. When I first worked with David, as part of a Coaching Programme, he gave me a sophisticated insight into my soft skills/behaviour and, even more so, having had the opportunity to compare myself ten years later, with several years’ experience in senior managerial roles, including Manager Director of the Hong Kong office of a German multinational company. Leadership requires an array of skill sets but David's analysis has helped me to thrive, not only in the business world, but also in my personal life. I can highly recommend David's professional and highly in-depth psychometric testing and analysis, as well as his exceptional coaching skills.

      I set up my own company - Organisational Solutions - to be able to adapt and overcome; to see problems as opportunities. Operating at the pace I want to and need to and whether collaborating with like-minded colleagues, or working independently, I find solutions for my clients, grounded an MSc in Organisational Psychology and two decades of experience of every type of situation a Consultant can be in, experience I can use to help my clients with whatever issues they are facing. For example, help organisations develop the right culture to succeed, coach leaders to be highly empathic and agile. Then, when the unexpected occurs they can adapt quickly enough to guide their team to success. Then to use psychometric testing to ensure a start-up only hires the right people. When a large multinational is hiring a senior leader, who will have reports spread over different countries, it is just as critical that the candidate possesses the necessary personality traits and EQ to do so with immediate effect, while also having the perspicacity to manage upwards effectively. To know that someone has these abilities is, I believe, a blend of science and art. The science is using the most valid and reliable assessments and the art is in the knowledge of the client and the type of person they need, along with the ability to analyse the results of the assessments and know if they are a match. Hence why Validation Interviews are so critical. Becoming just as adept over a Computer screen, didn't take long, particularly as during the first lockdown, I did some upskilling. The most useful was studying body language again. I also studied the 7 microexpressions, which are universal throughout the human race. These abilities have become vital when talking to a candidate over Zoom. Around December 2020, I stopped noticing any difference between a candidate on Zoom compared to if I was meeting them face-to-face.
