This project was based on the contracting, procurement and project management of a multi-million pound NHS hospital project. The execution of this project took me eight months from which I had to manage the whole project from conception phase to project close down. Every aspect of project management was developed and included to ensure the project deliverables were completed within the tolerances. Within my major… Show more As part of my final university assignment I mirrored a professional project. This project was based on the contracting, procurement and project management of a multi-million pound NHS hospital project. The execution of this project took me eight months from which I had to manage the whole project from conception phase to project close down. Every aspect of project management was developed and included to ensure the project deliverables were completed within the tolerances. Within my major project I had to completely re-design my own project management methodology manual for completing the £15 million hospital project. I personally developed a six stage process from Inception to close-down. The complexity of this was vast as it had to take in all aspects of a NHS hospital procurement. Aspects like government health and safety standards had to be included in the manual as well as BREEAM quality standards. Procuring contractors as well as Configuration management were strong aspects of the project. Show less
