Working as Marketing Manager at Selmach, I am responsible for all external marketing of the business. Everything from maintaining the website, and social media channels, email marketing, analysing website traffic as well as all design work, product photography and videography. As part of my time here at Selmach, I've re-established the use of Lead Forensics to track and discover potential leads on the website, modernised the design of the company's spec sheets, brought in additional functionality to the website, and started the use of 360 Virtual Tours for the showroom to showcase the machinery we sell.

Working as the Marketing & Communications Manager, I was responsible for all forms of external marketing for the Herefordshire, Ludlow and North Shropshire Colleges, a total of 5 campuses spread across Herefordshire and Shropshire as well as the County Training sister organisation too. This includes everything from preparing the assorted Prospectuses, to advertising in local press for the upcoming Open Events. As part of the role, I also managed a small team of staff, who assist in all aspects of the role. Producing the Prospectuses is quite an involved task, it involves collating all of the course information from all of the course tutors, verifying that everything is correct, and formatted consistency, before gathering together matching imagery, and compiling it all together to be designed into a single coherent Prospectus. Additional elements of the role involve organising College events, such as the Open Events that happen periodically throughout the year. This involved not only the advertising of this locally, via newspapers, social media and physical signage outside the college, but also the co-ordination of staff in advance to ensure all subject areas are represented. Other events included an Employer Open Event, a yearly event targeted at Businesses to encourage them in to see our facilities, and hopefully motivate them to consider taking on apprentices in the future. Graduation is another major event for the College, taking place in September, the Graduation takes place in the Hereford Cathedral, and is a celebration of the completion of Higher Education Courses ran by the College. Other tasks in the role included maintaining the College websites, ensuring they are up to date with the latest course information, and relevant news articles from events taking place at the college, as well as keeping a relevant presence on social media channels for the different Colleges campuses.

Returning to Wyvern, I was brought back in for a much more marketing-focused role. Concentrating on the production of internal and external marketing materials, as well as the re-development of the company website (https://www.wbs.uk.com/) and overall branding of the business. This has included the monitoring and promotion of the business over social media, and creating and publishing content on the company blog. Within this role I have used the Adobe Creative Cloud suite extensively, primarily utilising Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop as well as After Effects and Premier Pro - this involved creating elements for the programming team to incorporate into their projects. Other projects have involved the creation of both content and design of a Commercial Brochure, and creating the logo and branding for a re-development of the former Wyvern Training Portal (now iView Learning) including logo creation, a new video introduction sting for the videos hosting on the e-learning platform, a landing page website for the system, and assorted advertising literature both print and digital to launch the new branding.
