Directly managed all department operations in an over $6 Million finished goods DC supporting 37 routes, branches and DCs. Led the Northlake Warehouse Team: Inventory lead, Equipment lead, Office lead, Warehouse leads, NL and fleet drivers in the integration of the old Sara Lee Superior Chicago route business into a new Farmer Brothers distribution center for the Midwest which became the companies highest volume, and twice awarded "Best DC in company" for highest productivity and lowest inventory variance. Led the consolidation of an East Coast and Midwest (Sara Lee) DCs into the Northlake facility including the resetting of Picking Zones, Primaries, Secondary's, Bin and Quick Pick locations. Built, managed and maintained a team environment of a union DC on all shifts, with warehouse employees, route, branch and DC drivers, customer service, branch and DC management, and communication to corporate executives. Increased productivity by applying LEAN processes in a constant changing business flow environment.
