  Worldwide Manufacturer of Specialist Garden Equipment Having completed the first two years of my Product Design degree, I applied for one year's industrial placement, for a 14-month period where I worked as a development engineer for Bosch: Lawn and Garden, which forms part of the Power tools Division in Stowmarket, Suffolk. Work included being part of an engineering team, working daily building and field-testing prototype machines to meet internal & British safety standards before releasing them commercially here in the UK and in Europe.
