Computational studies to develop new inhibitors for the kinase BTK”: the purpose of our work was to find new leads able to inhibit the BTK, a kinase belonging to TEC family, which represents an interesting target for the treatment of diseases such as the chronic lymphocytic leukemia and rheumatoid arthritis. We developed a highly selective computational protocol for virtual screening, using different approaches such as pharmacophoric, docking and molecular dynamic simulation studies. The theoretical results were also confirmed by experimental studies that led to discover new BTK inhibitors. Show less
