Achievements and responsibilities: • Set up the NAB UK Credit Team with overall responsibility for the day to day management of a team of Credit Executives.• Established monthly reporting of Key Credit Metrics to the Leadership Team and the Bank’s Risk Committee. Significant improvements evidenced here by the Group Credit Assurance Team.• Exercised a significant Delegated Credit Authority solely and jointly with Head of Credit.• Overviewed and assisted with the controlled ‘wind down’ of a £5.6bn loan book of Corporate Real Estate Loans in circa three years.• Involved in two key projects to sell tranches of this book to external investors. Assisted in the preparation of this for sale and the post management until formally transferred.• Ongoing training/coaching of Direct reports and overview of Lending Accreditation of the wider NAB UK CRE team.
