David Crisp

David invested a year working with us on our project, developing from scratch and delivering training course material to a very broad range of operational teams. He helped hugely in engaging our delegates with subjects others said they not be interested in, with great success!

Danny Johnston

I worked with Dave for many years at Snap-on and he combines a thoughtful and pragmatic approach with an engaging, collaborative and supportive management style. He was always a trusted resource and I would recommend him to any employer/client.

    • Contracted Trainer for a Business Change project
      • Feb 2018 - Mar 2019

Based out of Thames Water’s headquarters in Reading I was a member of a training team, recruited into the business to facilitate the delivery of a large business change project driven by new Environment Agency permit regulations. My role in the project was multi-faceted, as my time was split between designing training directly from the newly developed Essential Standards which in turn were a result of new EA legislation, delivering training across Thames’ water treatment facilities to over 1200 Managers and Technicians, as well as helping to manage the large amount of associated administration that went with the training. The project had many challenges in its design and delivery, as we had to help negotiate the practical training delivery needed to change behaviours of the delegates, balanced against the desired content for inclusion in the training by the subject matter experts, scientists and legal teams at Thames. All this while trying meet the project’s business requirements which was to fit the training into a two sessions per day delivery pattern right across the Thames region. The project was successful in delivering the desired outcomes for the business with an approval score from delegates of over 95%, and was only drawn to a close as pressure on budgets increased going into the financial year 2019 / 2020

Hired as a lead trainer on a major transition programme for a large financial services group, I initially worked as part of the south midlands team running training for the self employed Agent cohort transferring to employed Customer Managers. After this phase of the work was completed I moved to the new hire project as a relief trainer and delivered this programme until its completion on 4th September. A technically challenging programme to run from many aspects, I attach a short testimonial from my training lead Testimonial David has been working with me as a lead trainer on a project and I have found him to be professional and calm in tough situations. He has a 'can do' attitude, self manages, problem solves situations and adapts to the clients need for constant change to support programme delivery and delegate learning.
