David’s keen eye for detail and meticulous documentation makes writing anything about him a little nerve-wracking because he will notice my tylping errors and tell me about them. Which is a good thing and I wish more people would critique in the way that David does - with compassion and an actual desire for someone to better themselves. David is a master at refining and streamlining processes, by quietly watching what is working and what isn’t in the day to day activities of a company. He is able to take on whatever is thrown at him, better it and hand it over to with a patient and focussed attitude you’d expect from an Operations Manager.

David was a key member of the leadership team ensuring everything within the company ran smoothly. He acted as the escalation point for various departments throughout the business including customer service, sales, development and design. Being this single point of contact he resolved issues quickly, efficiently and kept everyone in alignment. David kept people at the forefront of whatever he did. He wanted what was best for the staff so scheduled and ran regular formal reviews and informal feedback sessions to help everyone grow and stay focused. Moreover, putting customers first is something David truly believed in and ensured everyone in the team did the same. In addition, David oversaw bespoke development for some of our larger customers. We worked together to develop a call tracking solution for one of our enterprise customers which allows them to track phone calls as conversions for PPC activity. This data is then fed into a third party system for bid management optimisation. This project required an understanding of how data needed to flow between four different companies (including TTNC) and the systems within; David did an excellent job here and worked hard to ensure all parties were on the same page and understood the overall process without going into unnecessary details. It has been a pleasure working together and it would be a pleasure to work together again one day.

After redundancy and a year studying, I wrote, recorded and gigged with the band Electralyte (find us on Spotify). I also sessioned with the Salvation Army, facilitating contemporary worship at national and international youth events (such as in Norway). This regularly involved training and development of musicians and bands. I still teach guitar and bass, and you’ll regularly find me playing in church for up to 350 people.
