With 8 direct reports, and a team of 50 I am responsible for the following functions: Finance, IT, Logistics, Legal, HR, US & International Sales, DTC (Retail Sales), and Marketing. >I increased company Revenue from $17M when I joined in 2005 to $40M in 2022. >Per Wine Services, at the end of 2020, Ridge was the 2nd most distributed American wine brand globally in top restaurants.>Awarded Best Fine Wine Producer in the Americas by Liquid Icons at the Golden Vines Awards in 2021, and again in 2022. >Drinks International named Ridge as one of the Most Admired Wine Brands in the World for ten consecutive years, 2012-2021I recently lead important initiatives in carbon reduction, the development of a strategic roadmap for the winery’s IT, and the development of the winery’s strategic vision. The winery completed a total appraisal of its GHG emissions in 2022 and passed an external audit leading to Silver Level membership in International Wineries for Climate Action (IWCA). The strategic IT roadmap was completed in 2021 and encompassed: server migration to a data center, creation of company WAN, replacement of an aging backend system with a modern cloud-based application (Salesforce), improved security, CCPA/CRPA compliance, and the implementation of an external help desk provider. A strategic vision was developed with the Executive Team in a workshop that I led. The 15-Year vision was to “Become the American winery best known globally for quality, equity, and sustainable practices.” A vivid description of the future accompanied this goal as well as a core set of KPIs (by department) to measure our progress.
