David simply rocks. He is the kind of guy you hate because he's better than you at basically everything and, on top of that, is nice, too. On one hand, he is very detailed, analytical, and technical; he is able to understand and predict complex technical, business, and financial implications very quickly. On the other hand, he has a great eye for strategy; he is able to foresee where a business could go or how markets or users could react. He would make any organization, small or large, better.

David is one of the smartest and most thoughtful individuals that I know. In my 9 years of working with him at both Homestead and Intuit, he was an incredible leader, mentor and manager. David was universally admired and respected at all levels of the organization and his leadership was a key factor in our success. His instinct for product and customer experience is spot on, and I often relied on him as a sounding board for work in progress or as a source of great new ideas. Additionally, David's problem solving abilities and vision go well beyond product to include business strategy and organizational issues as well. I feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with David, and would do so again in a heartbeat if I had the opportunity to.
