  As a field service engineer my duties include the service, maintenance, testing and commissioning of all aspects of the emergency lighting installed. Using static inverters/ central battery systems converting DC to AC to power the emergency lighting in case of a power failure or a unexpected occurrence. Maintaining the static inverters includes changing the AC/DC components anything from capacitors, fuses, batteries this is on systems of up to 160kVA.
