Responsible for a number of building projects in Peterborough and London included the successful completion of a speculative conversion of an existing office building into 38 residential apartments for sale in Peterborough City Centre with a further two projects that will provide 30 apartments and 115 apartments respectively. I have also overseen the completion of a groundworks package for a sheltered housing development in Peterborough for Kier. Duties include planning, programming, subcontract procurement, commercial management, health and safety, design coordination, subcontractor liaison and contract management.

Responsible for delivery of multi-million pound projects in the education and retail sectors. Duries included managing the project from tender award to completion including cost contol, procuremnent, planning, programming, health and safety, sub-contract and direct labour management. I also chaired the project managers forum within Clugston Construction to streamline procedures and lessen the paperwork burden. I actively promoted the company and sought tendering opportunities and negotiated work and repeat business with existing clients.

Projects included a new retail store for B&Q at Romford, a Leisure Centre at Enfield and Commercial Units under the Nine Elms Flyover in Wandsworth for Spacia. Responsible for the delivery two sections of the Croydon Tramlink project to the stage of live testing of the trams. This included the section from Wimbledon Station to Reaves Corner and the Town Centre joining Reeves Corner to West Croydon Station, East Croydon Station and out the Addingto and Elmers End Sections. Duteis included planning, programming, sub-contract management, H&S, quality, liaison with Croydon Borough Council, Network Rail and the Highways Authority.

I also acted as a freelance project manager to construction companies and developers in the highways maintenance, airfield resurfacing, office and commercial development sectors.
