After moving to Dubai when my wife was relocated with work, I took the decision to stay at home providing full time care for our daughter. The reason for this was two-fold. Firstly, formal child care in Dubai was only available 07:00 – 12:00 which did not suit required hours of work – and the alternative being a full time live in nanny which we decided against. My decision was made primarily to enjoy the pleasure of seeing my daughter grow through the crucial first years of life, which so many parents are unable to do. I also completed NCFE Level 4, Managing People certification online from the UK. Show less
