David is the consummate professional. The quality of his security services, especially the K9 services he offers are way beyond those of the majority of security service providers including the multi nationals. Smart, well turned out and very competent, his dog handlers and their vehicles are something to be proud of. If you are looking for a reliable, professional security contractor - look no furthert han Ward Security and give David a call.

I have known David Ward for over 10 years and have used the services of his company "Ward Security" on many occassions. As a security consultant and specifier for my clients, I have recommended his company for contract tenders where and when it has bee apropriate for me to do so. David is a very personable individual who always takes a very hands on approach and has a drive and passion for the services he provides not seen regularly amongst his sector peers. David Ward is a very pro active company director who has a very keen interest in the development and betterment of industry standards and operational practice improvement.. I have always received a good service when David Ward has been engaged to supply services. I have always seen that things are never left to chance from start to finish with any assignment. I always have confidence in the level of professional service delivery and support for any assignment. I have and continue to reccomend David Ward as a suppler of security services because I know that I am going to get professional service and know that the cost for services provided are always going to be competetive.

CSSC was founded in June 2011 by a team of senior security experts, with the aim of building a platform to facilitate communications between private and public sector on issues surrounding security and business resilience. The initial focus of CSSC was to help businesses prepare for business as usual in the lead up to, and during the Olympic and Paralympic Games. In August 2013 full charitable status was secured for CSSC which is now registered under charity number 1153764. The charity’s objectives are stated as:To promote for the public benefit, in partnership with the police, law enforcement agencies and other relevant bodies and organisations, the protection of people and property from, and the prevention of, criminal acts in particular but not exclusively by the provision of a national communication vehicle between the public and private sectors, providing information on all relevant security matters. The CSSC Board of Trustees (in-site link to Trustees page) oversees the running of the charity overall, with region-specific management boards set up for each individual hub. Regional operational teams, seconded from both public and private sector bodies, handle the day-to-day running of each hub.CSSC builds on existing (and specialist) successful and proven security networks such as Project Griffin (security sector) and Sister Banks (finance sector), to provide a means for the police and government to communicate with the wider private sector businesses of all sizes, with ‘one voice’ on safety and security, as well as to receive feedback from business on the security issues important to them.A key part of achieving this was the new partnership between business, the Police and the Government in London: the Cross-sector Safety and Security Communications Project (CSSC). Abigail’s Footsteps is a registered Charity, number 1149005 Abigail's Footsteps was launched in 2010 by parents Jo and David Ward following the death of their daughter Abigail Ward who was stillborn at 41 weeks gestation. Abigail's Footsteps achieved charitable status on the 18th September 2012. Jo and David had two primary objectives when they launched the charity, firstly to improve the bereavement training that midwives and care staff received, and to improve the quality of supportive information that families received if their family suffered a stillbirth. Despite the fact that 17 babies are either stillborn or die a neonatal death (When a baby dies in the first 28 days of life) every single day in the United Kingdom many hospitals are still woefully prepared to deal with this. Numerous hospitals have inadequate facilities and equipment and their staff have received no bereavement training. It is the charity’s aim to change this. From the purchase of cold cots, to the production of an awareness film through the eyes of a mother whose child is to be stillborn, to the provision of bereavement training for midwives and care staff, to the production of detailed information booklets with advice and guidance from parents who have already suffered the loss of a child, we want to do all we can to try and ease the pain endured by parents and their families during those first days and weeks after losing a child.
