  I was the Project Services Manager for Worley's team delivering services for Woodside under the Brownfields EP Services Contract. We are responsible for Engineering and Procurement for a variety of brownfields projects at Woodside's onshore facilities.   Seconded to Rio Tinto Iron Ore Expansion Projects, I was responsible for overseeing the constructon of 2 new gas fired power stations and associated infrastructure, including an 80km gas pipeline with a total capital budget of $1.1bn.The project included the West Angelas Power Station (WAPS) and the Cape Lambert Power Station (CLPS). WAPS was a greenfield open cycle gas turbine power station development consisting of two dual fuel LM6000 PF SPRINT GTGs and associated infrastructure.CLPS was a greenfield combined cycle development, consisting of two dual fuel LM6000 PF SPRINT GTGs with IST once through steam generators including supplementary firing, and 1 GE Oil and Gas steam turbine , and associated infrastructure.

  Key leadership role on the study team engaged by Rio Tinto Iron Ore Expansion Projects on the prefeasibiity and feasibility studies for the Power System Upgrade 330 (PSU330) Project, with particular responsibility for the power generation aspects of the studies.The PSU330 study scope was to determine the new power infrastructure required to support RTIO's expansion to 330 Mtpa of iron ore production, and included consideration a transmission infrastructure reinforcement, power demand forecasting, generation technology selection (reciprocating engines vs OCGT vs CCGT, and different GTG models and condigurations), location of new generating plants, scheduling, cost estimating and long term fuel usage forecasting.

• Project Engineer - PSU Project

  Work on the EPCM team, engaged on the PSU Project for Rio Tinto Iron Ore Expansion Projects, including:1. Responsible for power generation and utility supplies as part of the Pre-feasibility and Feasibility Studies2. Package engineer for the gas turbine power plant contract package, including supply and installation of 4 LM6000 PD SPRINT gas turbines, awarded to IHI Engineering Australia at the Yurralyi Maya Power Station (YMPS). I prepared the technical specification documentation and led the technical negotiations with the contractor. Reviewed all design drawings and coordinated review by other specialist engineers and the client representatives. I was the main point of contact between the owner's/EPCM team and the contractor.3. Site Engineer, based at YMPS, during the installation of the gas turbines mentioned above, a 220kV switchyard, gas lateral pipeline and delivery station, and balance of plant equipment.
