As a law student, David worked as a Case Manager for Sport Solution, a clinic that assists Canadian National Team athletes resolve their sported-related issues, including appeals, mediation and arbitration. Prior to law school, David completed both his Master of Arts degree in Political Science and Bachelor of Arts, Honours degree in Political Science at Wilfrid Laurier University. David articled with one of the top labour and employment law firms in Toronto and, after his call to the bar, joined Samfiru Tumarkin LLP as an associate in 2012. David represents and advises employers and employees in both the unionized and non-unionized settings. David has an excellent understanding of his clients’ needs and provides thoughtful, timely and strategic advice with respect to all areas of labour and employment law and related workplace matters, including wrongful and constructive dismissals.
