Exceptional. Effective. Focused. David is a rock star in non-profits and development. He easily grasps complex ideas and deploys his skills to implement programs. He's always relentless. I remember a conference we both attended where he showed tenacity in connecting with potential sponsors and understood the truths to developing deep relationships. Thanks so much for partnering with us and supporting the environment. Steve and Bill National CleanUp Day, United States World CleanUp Day, United States Country Leader

Our mission at AMCC is to create and strengthen an alliance of communities with regional economic development initiatives underway dedicated to achieving sustainability through economic growth, improved environmental performance, and inclusive well-paid job creation supporting initiatives to create new opportunities and equity within a revitalized American manufacturing base. My role is focused on expanding AMCC's work through implementation of our strategic plan to help manufacturing communities grow, integrate, measure, and sustain a robust ecosystem of support in key industries in regions across the country. AMCC works towards accelerating productive outcomes in federally designated manufacturing communities, with a focus on those critical to America's 21st century success, namely Defense, Energy, Transportation, Agriculture, Communications, and Health. Our work helps manufacturers thrive through an ecosystem approach grounded in reliable metrics and using sustainable development best practices including economic strength and competitiveness, equity/inclusion/diversity, environmental sustainability, and security. Nonpartisan, independent and nonprofit, OpenSecrets is the nation's premier research group tracking money in U.S. politics and its effect on elections and public policy. Our mission is to track the flow of money in American politics and provide the data and analysis to strengthen democracy. I grew our individual giving program and supported work to make our resources more accessible for the aspiring money-follower. My day-to-day included growing our acquisition funnel, stewarding our donors, developing tools and behind-the-scenes processes to make giving easier and more meaningful, and translating our team's good work into impact statements and stories. It was incredibly fulfilling to work on this (increasingly critical) cause of transparency and accountability in U.S. politics. Quite a few friends and acquaintances have approached me to say how important OpenSecrets is to their job or organization; it's truly a unique resource created by brilliant researchers. Many governments would persecute those doing the work OpenSecrets is doing, which underscores the freedoms and tools we have available to us to hold our government accountable. Show less

EARTHDAY.ORG’s mission is to diversify, educate and activate the environmental movement worldwide. With annual Earth day events and several programmatic areas worked on by staff, my time was filled with generating prospect lists, conducting outreach, preparing proposals, building decks and sending out requests for funding. I led outreach for our corporate giving and sponsorship program, fielding calls and successfully working with major businesses - including UPS Foundation, Wells Fargo, JetBlue, and Danone - on sponsorship opportunities that would support our programs and benefit the environment. I managed ~110 corporate accounts at different stages and sponsorship levels. I also led development of our small giving program, structuring and launching the Earth Day Membership program alongside my team members. I built the structure and cadence of new donor outreach, developed membership language, and created/fulfilled the benefits that members would receive at each giving level. Show less

AMCC is a non-profit organization with a mission to create regional coalitions around manufacturing communities to support workers, foster inclusive cluster growth, and promote sustainable best practices nationwide. I was a founding member of the nonprofit, supporting the Executive Director, Matt Bogoshian. I helped structure the organization, developing communication and admin tools including our website, deck materials, file management, copy language etc. I also coordinated regional stakeholders on a congressional lobbying campaign to secure appropriations for manufacturing community partners. I ran a phone and email campaign and facilitated meetings to align stakeholders, culminating in a House Committee Hearing that took place in-person at the Capitol. Before I reduced my time working on the organization, our effort resulted in $25MM in appropriations under section 846 in the National Defense Authorization Act of 2019, which has gone on to support parts of the coalition we represent. Mapistry offers comprehensive solutions to all the stormwater, SPCC, and hazardous material issues plaguing industrial sites nationwide. As an SDR, I was responsible for Outbound/Inbound/Campaign-driven lead generation, processing and follow-up. I also assisted AEs with scheduling meetings and pitching/conducting software demos. AU is one of the leading national universities in sustainability. I supported the announcement of AU going carbon-neutral ahead of schedule, and socialized this information to the student body through events on the main quad and canvassing around the campus. During my time, our team organized a campus-wide Energy Competition event with the goal of changing the student body’s electricity use behavior. We canvassed the on-campus student population by knocking on dorm room doors and surveying around the dining hall entrance. We explained the importance of what we were doing by showing what the university established to reduce its energy use, and connected that effort to simple activities students could take to do their part. The three week competition culminated in a reduction of 150,000 Kilowatt-Hours - about 15% campus-wide reduction - from baseline numbers. Show less
