  I'm personally responsible for managing the administration of international networks and projects, such as the ambassadorial networks (International Advisors) for India, Pakistan, Hong Kong and China. I am also the lead administrator for the College's Medical Training Initiative scheme which aims to bring international talent into the NHS for a period of reciprocal learning in UK centres of excellence.   As a membership support officer my work involved supporting existing and prospective members in all areas - facilitating applications, responding to queries, promoting our member benefits, adhering to internal processes and helping customers get the most out of their membership.I was involved communicating with and providing support to members on a daily basis, acting as the first point of contact for clinicians interested in membership. The wide variety of responsibilities and demanding workload require a high level of organisation, prioritisation of tasks, and constant communication with other team members. I was also personally responsible for all administrative requirements of the Faculty of Podiatric Medicine (FPM), including organising and taking minutes for board meetings, communicating with key internal and external stakeholders, and working with board members to deliver on the strategic priorities of both the Faculty and the College as a whole.   I spent a full Winter season working as a ski instructor for a renowned ski school in Zell am See. Worked with a wide variety of clients - children and adults, group and individual private lessons, clients from UK, Germany, local Austria, Netherlands and many others. Utilised my qualifications, training, and knowledge about ski performance development to deliver lessons in both English and German. Over time I developed my reputation as an effective and reliable instructor and by the end of the season was managing mainly intermediate/advanced private lessons. Show less

  I attended EFPSA's European Summer School for Psychology. During this event, our international student team collaborated with our supervisor to design a project involving the use of a smartphone application for real-time quality of life assessment. The students of our team are now enrolled on the Junior Researcher Programme, a 13-month initiative in which we aim to implement and later present our project at next year's EFPSA & JRP conference in Cambridge. I attended EFPSA's European Summer School for Psychology.
