Student Researcher

Worked on an interdisciplinary team comprised of mechanical engineering, computer science, and computer engineering students to design and develop an automated optical microscope stage for auto-focus and feature tracking as part of an NSF-funded REU experience. Designed various mechanisms for an automated battery-swapping system for implementation in modular drones. Used CAD to design mechanical components and employed additive manufacturing to aid in rapid prototyping of design ideas.

Delivered over 60 90-minute tours to prospective students and their families tailored to student’s academic and extracurricular interests. Participated in synchronous panels to represent the University remotely. Worked with another manager to schedule and create policies for around 55 student workers in Undergraduate Admissions. Spearheaded a project to update and reformat the 11,000+ word Tour Leader ManualI was also involved with the creation of the official Clarkson University Campus Tour, which was published to Clarkson's YouTube Channel on October 29, 2021. It is the featured video there. I acted as a representative of the Office of Undergraduate Admissions to the Marketing and External Relations Department. I provided feedback on a script that gave an overview of campus locations and resources. I appear as the tour guide in the video. This project coincided with the creation of a new video for tour guides to talk over during virtual tours. I outlined a comprehensive 2,496-word list of every shot that would be needed in the 40-minute video and aided with DSLR and drone operation. Show less
