The Company of Community Organisers (CoLtd) The national Community Organisers training programme comes to an end in 2015. It has focused on encouraging social action and building relationships in communities. Over 500 community organisers will have been through the training programme and graduated by summer 2015. They, in turn, have been supporting thousands of Volunteers. Overall they have listened to over 200,000 local residents, encouraging and supporting them to take action on issues that matter to them. It’s crucial that all of this good work continues: this is what we are referring to when we talk about the legacy of the Community Organiser programme and that's where The Company of Community Organisers (COLtd) comes in. The company has been set up to develop this legacy and offer continued support to organisers and their volunteers. COLtd was established to run in parallel with the programme for the last year so we will have a solid organisation in place when the government-funded programme ends
