  SUMMARY My role is to preserve the mission and spirit of Christ in the City in all of its programs and services, oversee the integral well being of the missionaries, and offer the resources and opportunities for the missionaries to mature in their personal development, community life, and leadership to volunteers and with the poor. • Create, implement, and evaluate the formation program for missionaries and volunteers in collaboration with the other formators. • Assist the Managing Director in planning, implementing, and leading the staff development meetings and retreats. • Interview and approve/deny applicants who will join any of the missionary programs. • Oversee the spiritual accompaniment of the missionaries and be available to provide it. • Offer an example of apostolic availability by living it particularly with the missionaries and their needs. • Facilitate moments of encounter within the community. • Offer guidance to the support team in communicating our mission faithfully outside of the organization. • Create and constantly renew a culture that is consistent with the identified mission, vision, guiding principles, and values of the organization. • Provide personal support for the missionaries in unforeseen situations. • Promptly respond to requests for spiritual guidance. • Offer spiritual resources to nourish the interior life of the missionaries. • Any other tasks or duties as assigned.
