I had the pleasure of working with David for the last two years of my time as Deputy Head of School at St Andrew's Cathedral School and during that time I found him to be an outstanding pastoral leader with a real passion for educating and caring for the Middle School students. David was a very clear thinker and is a very articulate speaker. With these skills he became a very important member of our Divisional Heads and Executive Committees. David provided the students with many opportunities to develop their gifts and was instrumental in assisting key staff as they took on leadership roles in the Middle School. He believed in working with the students both in and outside of the classroom and was very supportive of both the sporting and creative arts programmes. David coached a Rugby team in the Winter and was very keen on his Basketball. There is no doubt that further leadership roles lie ahead for David and I would recommend him strongly for roles that allow him to express his pastoral and oral skills.
