  My role with Cobalt was working with the CFO in all areas of fund management including: new loan origination, refinances, quarterly property valuations, fund cash projections and dividend recommendations, waterfall and promote calculations, property dispositions, quarterly and annual investor reports. Assisted in the successful disposition of Cobalt Capital Partners, a $1.6 billion sale to Colony Financial, which generated positive returns for all Cobalt investors. In December 2014, Cobalt Capital Partners was acquired by Colony Financial, Inc. (Colony Capital), a NYSE listed REIT. Colony acquired the portfolio of 256 industrial properties totaling over 30 million square feet along with the operating platform for $1.6 billion. Show less
