Built international partnerships at the intersection of ocean science, art and technology with leading foundations, corporates and institutions such as Eric Schmidt's Ocean Institute, James Cameron's Avatar Alliance Foundation and Ray Dalio's OceanX, Mercedes-Benz, Lighthouse Foundation, Prior Family Foundation, the Embassy of Portugal in Italy, the German Institute for Foreign Affairs (IFA) and the European Commission's Science, Technology & Arts (STARTS) programme. Successfully advocated for EUR 300m being added to the European Commission's "Mission Healthy Oceans" budget for the creation of art and culture focused on the ocean. Obtained endorsement by UNESCO as part of the UN Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development.
