I was responsible for preparing and presenting bids in 25 provinces all over Spain. While at the same time acting as the main contact for the bodybuilders and the Volvo Engineering department in order to offer the best solutions to our customers and to better support the sales network in those assigned areas. I notably won important bids for refuse trucks in Pamplona, refuse trucks on the island of El Hierro, and also fire trucks in Galicia (AXEGA).

I was the sales manager in charge of natural gas vehicles and led the Volvo LNG Project in introducing this new product to the Spanish market. I worked in close collaboration with the factory team in Sweden to facilitate improvements and to give them feedback regarding our Spanish customer’s particular needs. In addition, I also identified, and managed national key accounts while also supervising deals. Another aspect of this position was to support both our commercial network with a sales strategy which included being in charge of selecting customers to test our demo vehicles; and to the General Management in decision-making through KPI's presentation and market evolution reports. I advised, trained, and gave technical support to customers on how to use this tool so that they could see significant and effective results in their fuel consumption. I assisted the commercial network in reinforcing the sales operations using this system and by working in close contact with the technical department at the factory in Sweden to solve HW and SW issues and propose improvements and updates. Instructor at the Volvo Training Center in Valdemoro teaching theoretical and practical courses about the mechanical and electronic systems of our brand's trucks and coaches. Trainings were aimed at mechanics from the dealers and workshops network. They were monitored and we followed up with them about what they learned through an online portal.
