  The MDes course allowed the time for exploration of an interest in material culture and encouraged the investigation of this interest through the creation of rich narratives, speculative thinking and thorough research. Gave particular focus to craft and making within the interior environment, as acts through which identity is created and expressed, and through which highly valued objects with important connections beyond their physical existence are created. Developed skills in concept visualisation, material experimentation and creative computer modelling as a method of digital experimentation, using the visual scripting language Grasshopper. As Class Rep took responsibility for maintaining an effective feedback loop between students and staff and assisted in resolving student issues relating to teaching/learning. Show less
