  I received a total of $5000 in funding to work under the supervision of Dr. Siegfried Eggl for NASA's UROP summer program at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. We performed forward simulations of low-earth orbiting (LEO) satellites to computationally assess the impact of satellite mega-constellations like Starlink on the Vera C. Rubin Observatory and solar system science.
