  I provide professional Command, Control, Communications, and Intelligence (C3I) expertise on national defense functional disciplines, with a particular focus on the integration of commercial satellite services. I analyze satellite communications requirements, review proposed commercial satellite service solutions, and recommend implementation of solutions that best meet overall operational requirements. I am responsible for planning and supporting the Unified Combatant Commanders of U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM), U.S. Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM), U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), and various other customers. My role includes providing support to a wide range of the war-fighter's Satellite Communications (SATCOM) requirements; which includes both fixed and mobile applications for exercises, demonstrations, real-world operations, contingencies, and testing. I am responsible for aiding the customer in defining their requirements and assisting them in drafting the documents if necessary. I provide technical advice to the supported Combatant Command’s (COCOM) staff on the requirements for supported networks. I work hand-in-hand with the COMSATCOM Center’s COMSATCOM Account Managers (CAMs) throughout the acquisition process. I am responsible for drafting and releasing Satellite Access Authorizations (SAA). I provide customer support/service throughout the duration of the mission.   I provided technical advice and subject matter expertise (technical and operational knowledge) to the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Central Field Command and USCENTCOM J2, J3, and J6, among other entities. I maintained situational awareness of on-going communication missions and provided on-demand status supporting the USCENTCOM Area of Responsibility (AOR). I worked with DISA, DISA Central Field Command and USCENTCOM on existing and future SATCOM systems, plans, and operations. I interfaced directly with USCENTCOM, various DISA departments, and end users on Distributed Tactical Communications Systems (DTCS) and Digital Video Broadcasting-Return Channel Systems (DVB-RCS).   I supervised all technicians (approximately 40) during their normal day-to day activities, providing technical assistance as needed. As the NOC lead, I managed escalations internally and externally as well as prepared and maintained documentation used in the daily operations of the NOC.
