Prior to the sale of DARCA in 1997 to a venture capital company, we had been named as one of the top 10 Kansas City area small businesses by the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce. After selling DARCA, I went into a contractual 5-year "exile" from the world of healthcare information technology.
