I worked with David in the Airline Ticketing department at Sabre for the past 7 years. During that time I had to ask for his assistance on multiple occasions because of his vast knowledge of Automated Exchange and Refunds (AER) web service. It did not matter how much David had going on, he always found the time and patience to stop and help. Due to his willingness to share his expertise, it made my job of Business Analyst supporting the AER product so much easier. Also, unlike many developers / architects, David had a unique ability to discern the needs of a customer. In fact he could make BAs see things we hadn't thought of. Any company or team would benefit from David's talents and contribution.

I got the opportunity to work with David for about 9 years in the same department. We have worked on several projects together especially in the area of enabling webservices. David's strengths are his in-depth system knowledge and his willingness to patiently walk the team through various talking points with the ultimate goal of delivering the best solution. I also have worked with him on customer facing projects where David has shown great professionalism and integrity. He says it as it is and sets customer expectations upfront. He is a great team player where he would sometimes drive test efforts to get the point across or help validate the process flow.. David has a great sense of humor and would ease tension or stress building up in teams during meetings or calls.
