Co- Founded Theee Lions Pub with my partner Chris Tinker in 2010 opened in early 2011. As an active owner I am constantly looking for innovative ways to promote and develop the Pub. I enjoy allowing the staff to be actively involved in the decision making process. I enjoy watching managers grow and develop their abilities and career working alongside us. Recently my role has been focused on developing software and formulas that assist in regulating margins throughout all aspects of our company, along with identifying strengths and weaknesses. I have also worked with my partner in developing training models and practices that allows us to improve our company and can be easily duplicated in future establishments.I look to ensure that Three Lions Pub is Milwaukee's most authentic British Pub providing scratch cooking all served in a comfortable neighborhood Pub. Whilst completing my MBA my business partner Chris and I developed the business plan through our Masters Degrees. We identified a need in Shorewood for a good local community bar. At the time there was only one other bar and one other restaurant in the area. Since our launch 10 years later there are over 13 in this vibrant community. Through our analysis of the market we felt confident Shorewood was the ideal place to launch our first business venture in this industry. Initially we rented the building and expanded into the adjoining space. In 2018 we purchased the build and the adjacent building. ConceptThe Three Lion was the first of four pub/ restaurant ownerships we undertook. We wanted to develop a true Gastro Pub. The term Gastro Pub was coined in London and is essentially a Pub with a heavy focus on quality scratch cooked food served at bar prices. We wanted to create a pub that felt like a 'community living room.'Three Lions Pub was my first entrepreneurial venture. I am proud to work with fantastic people from all over the world in this wonderful community on the shores of Lake Michigan in Milwaukee.Initially Chris and I ran the business with a limited staff. Working in the business, as well as running the business. We rewarded the hard working General Manager, Luca Musker with ownership in the business and made him partner after he had performed so consistently from the day we opened. The business has won several awards for the food, quality, and operation. Three Lions has won Business of the Year. Personally, Chris and I were ecstatic to win two Business Owner of the Year Awards amongst other awards from the Shorewood Business Improvement District.Another major highlight would be our Shorewood Bike Race Block Party, Paddy's Day Block Party and bi annual World Cup and European Cup finals has had around 15,000 people in attendance at our block parties.
