  Lotus is the iconic British sports car manufacturer undergoing transformation following its acquisition by Geely - a global automotive group which includes Volvo Cars, Proton, LEVC and other marques. Having worked for Geely at LEVC I joined Lotus for a short period to lead stakeholder and national media engagement for the launch of the Lotus Evija – the EV (electric vehicle) hypercar. Key achievements• Part of the project team that delivered the Lotus Evija launch.• Led the promotion of Lotus’ corporate sponsorship of Norwick City FC.• Secured senior political endorsement for the Lotus business plan.

  London EV Company (LEVC) is an electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer and part of Geely. During my four years at LEVC I led the communications and public affairs team during a period of significant change and transformation which included new product launches and the opening of the UK’s first dedicated electric vehicle production plant. Key Achievement: • Led the UK and European launch of LEVC’s flagship electric taxi – including the product launch and official opening of LEVC’s new factory in the UK.• Secured a range of e-mobility government grants and incentives totalling £150m+ . • Part of the rebranding team which created LEVC and achieved super brand status in its first year.

I went on to specialise in government affairs working first in a pan European role coordinating public affairs activity in Brussels before becoming the UK Public Affairs Manager. Key Achievements • Managed a range of stakeholder relationships during major restructuring.• Achieved significant concessions on energy policies including a £17m annual rebate.• Launched the Foundation Industries report and campaign which set a new and enduring narrative for the industry. • Set up a lobbying partnership with automotive groups to campaign for Business Rates reform.
