During my time in King's as Head of Year and Head of German, David always had an open door, and would always pause whatever he was doing to listen to my questions and give me excellent advice. I am very grateful to David for seeing beyond a non-traditional teacher CV, and giving me the opportunity to join the King's team. He was also always happy to let me try new things, and always so supportive of the MFL programme, the teachers and students, and whenever possible joining in with German Department events and trips.
