This also involved creating social media campaigns for the Anacostia Park and Kenilworth Park and Aquatic gardens promotion and Centennial programming. I also initiated outreach, diversity initiatives and advocacy efforts on behalf of AFSA members. I provided strategic analysis, managed the Congressional relationships, and assisted in drafting and submitting AFSA’s Benghazi testimony to the Special Committee on Benghazi.I wrote a bi-monthly column in the Foreign Service Journal about stories of advocacy on Capitol Hill and managed the AFSA-PAC administrative duties, AFSA-PAC Board meetings, and serving as the Congressional advisor to the Board.
