Worked for a Sydney-based tech start-up on developing the 'Hugo' app. Users entered the name and company of persons they were going to meet, and Hugo provided a brief on them, their company, their industry and their personal interests, based on their social media presence (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Crunchbase, Angelist) and news media mentions. As User Engagement and Content Researcher, my role was to improve the app's machine-learning and natural language processing algorithms by reviewing the results on our bespoke content management system. I provided fast editing and quick turnaround times, and worked closely with our developers as the app and its 'back-end' evolved. I was a member of the Content Concierge team, who worked across multiple time zones 24/7 to ensure Hugo's AI delivered quality Hugo briefs to users, on time. Show less
