Supervised 4 quality assurance inspectors: provided coaching, engineering updates, and managed their KPIs (inspection/rejection ratios, complaint accountability, etc.). Prepared summaries of internal rejections to production supervisors and C-level management. Troubleshooted customer complaints and production issues to determine root cause and developed corrective actions in coordination with the Quality Assurance Manager. Hosted complaint resolution meetings with Engineering, Customer Service, and Production. Represented Quality Assurance during customer audits of the Transit Assembly department. Attended weekly Engineering meetings to discuss upcoming jobs and anticipated issues. Audited work instructions, blueprints, and forms for annual ISO 9000 readiness and inspection. Designed and revised quality checklists (and alerts) to aid in the final assembly inspection. Worked with design and manufacturing engineers to improve design and processes.
