  The Knickerbocker Greys is an after-school, youth organization established in 1881 for boys and girls ages six to sixteen. The cadets learn leadership skills such as how to motivate others, supervise a group of peers, properly convey empathy and patience, and build confidence in other cadets in a fun and unique way. The abilities acquired as a part of the Corps not only serve the cadets in their school lives now, but in their careers, and with their families, later in life.   The Masonic Medical Research Laboratory (MMRL) is an internationally recognized biomedical research institute founded by the Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons in the New York State in 1958. The MMRL is an international center for genetic screening of inherited cardiac arrhythmia diseases, especially those responsible for sudden cardiac death, including sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) and is actively involved in the development of safe and effective drugs for atrial fibrillation, thus addressing one of the greatest unmet medical needs facing our society.   Community Board 8 represents the Upper East Side of Manhattan and Roosevelt Island. Specifically, our area extends from the north side of East 59th Street to the south side of East 96th Street, Fifth Avenue to the East River, and Roosevelt Island. Members of Community Board 8 make recommendations to the Borough President, City Council, Mayor and various city and state agencies regarding land use, zoning and budgetary matters affecting their district. The Boards also help coordinate the delivery of municipal services, recommend permit processing for street fairs and block parties, handle local complaints, and provide information for the community.

  COL Menegon has recently returned from Iraq where he has served 4 combat tours spanning over 2 years and was awarded his 3rd Bronze Star, and the Close Combat Badge. In his last deployment in Iraq he served as the Deputy Team Commander on the Kirkuk Provincial Reconstruction Team (PRT), reporting to the United States Department of State. As Deputy Team Commander in Iraq, LTC Menegon was responsible for serving a population of over 2.5 million people developing programs impacting Economic Development, Infrastructure, Education, Public Health, Security, and Governance.. LTC Menegon supervising a multi-agency; multi-disciplinary PRT at the provincial level comprised of 85 members from DoD, Dos, USAID, USDA, FEMA, DOJ, and locally employed staff.

  Lenox Hill Democratic Club is located in the 76th Assembly District of New York County; the 76th AD is located in the upper east side of Manhattan, from 60th St to 91st. St.. East of 2nd Ave to the East River and Roosevelt Island LHDC is dedicated to helping its members stay current with the political issues. Club meetings feature presentations by Democratic elected officials, community leaders as well as interactive member discussions on current issues.The LHDC plays a very important part in Democratic Party in NYC. As a club we endorsed and help elect our candidates for: State Senate, State Assembly, City Counsel, County Committee, Civil and Superior Court Judges, as well as all the elected officials at the State and Federal level.
