      • Independently evaluate and manage acute neurologic patients, especially related to neurovascular or tumor induced states and their comorbidities such as: Diabetes, Hypertension, Hyperlipidemia, sleep apnea, infections, and other metabolic issues.• Collaboratively assess, plan and present neuro critical care patients with the multi-discipline team and attending physician.• Respond (and lead if necessary) all Acute Stroke alerts in the hospital. Perform the NIH Stroke Scale; facilitate rapid treatment, and/or disposition with team members.• Competent in complete medical management of neurologically critical patients including: neurologic assessment, telemetry, CVP, monitoring; Brain shifts/brain edema, managing vasoactive medications, hyperosmolar therapy, mechanical ventilation, serial neurologic exam, EVD evaluation, altered sodium states (such as CSW or DI), post aneurysm clipping, etc.Project: • Created a comprehensive neuro critical care documentation document for daily neuro-critical care management. This venture was highly collaborative with physicians, informatics, nursing, administration, and others.
