Dennis Shirk
I’ve worked with David since I was a new Producer at Firaxis Games, and he’s never ceased to impress me in any project that he’s ever touched. His calm and steady demeanor, even under pressure and stress, has always been such an important part of any design team he’s been a part of, or that he’s led. On our latest venture, he became the go-to designer for heavy lifting and creative solutions whenever it was required, and I am genuinely sad to see him go (although excited to see what comes next for him). We’ve shared an incredible amount of varied experiences, and I would have him on any team I am a part of without hesitation. Our paths will cross again Dave! Say hi to Kelley for me.

Dave is a very talented individual who excels at many aspects of game development. I easily consider him to be one of the brightest people I've met at the Savannah College of Art and Design. Throughout college, he taught me a great deal about game development and project management by example. His projects were always very compelling and creative. Dave has always had a very positive impact on those he works with, and I believe he will have a significant impact on the industry in years to come. It would be great to have someone like Dave on any project. I hope we can work together again in the future.
