Bio
Brian Blaser, M.Eng., GISP
David was a solid engineer when I worked with him at SAIC and I am sure his skills have grown since then. Always taking the lead, he held detailed presentations on app development as if he were a senior manager, even though his goal was simply to help others learn systems and pipelines to the same degree he grasped them. Not just a large presentation guy who craves the limelight (some of these guys just do it to hear themselves talk, I feel), David would excel in one-on-one code reviews and troubleshooting with a degree of patience that is hard to find in someone twice his age. Superb full stack engineer on multiple levels.

• Created a signing page to enable users to sign PDF documents. This signing page is now being used across the company for other applications to use. • Developed the NuGet package to interface with our company’s identity provider, aiding developers to adhere to OAuth 2.0 standards. • Delivered a microservice under-budget and ahead of schedule to auto-generate certificates that are signed by the company’s certificate authority, and thereby automating what was a very manual process. In addition to this, we unearthed a lot of information that had been lost to the company. Show less
