      • Developed and delivered the ‘Rec Mobile’ project a traveling recreation mobile aimed at “Providing fun, and Preserving nature” o 9 week, twice a week, rotating park locations, throughout the summer. Weekly average participation achieved 30 children with one event peaking above 80 participants. o The 1st year pilot program required organizing weekly events, themes, offering free programming in recreation, arts and crafts, and social skill building. o Microcosm of management dealing with personnel management, budget, programming, and marketing. • Successfully completed the graduate internship program which included the following events: o 10th Annual Fishing Derby Lead, 80 participants between the ages of 5 and 15 years, 30 volunteers, created, this year, use of age division identification to streamline successful award ceremonies. o Gurnee Great American Family Campout - planned three events for the 40 area families (87 total participants), a scavenger hunt, family banner making, big dipper relay race, provided lawn games (Frisbee golf, campfire songs, and movie in the park) performed setup and breakdown of the event. o Toddler Olympics – planned and administered the event, to include where it was held, length of each event, identified supplies for each of the 5 events (soccer, shot put, sprint, triple jump, target challenge), performing setup and breakdown of the event. o Aquatic Special Events – created and implemented both out of and in water activities, to include DJ Dip and Dance, Beach Bum Bash, Olympic style events during the week of 7/30, served as the event announcer, coordinated 10 volunteer on event logistics. o Implemented first annual Gurnee Park District intramural sports leagues.
