In following one of my passions, I chose to start my own small business. My goal is to provide emergency training programs that meet the needs of the customer and their challenges. We can also provide consulting services at fair costs to municipalities and emergency service providers. In following one of my passions, I chose to start my own small business. • Chairman
      • Jan 2014 - Jan 2019

One of the founding members of the Montgomery County IST Team and currently serve as its chairman. The team’s function is to assist Incident Commanders with getting their ICS roles functioning in a functional and orderly manner. We normally do not function in the same manner as an IMT; however, we do, at times serve in operational roles. I was fortunate to have been elected as the team’s chairman by a unanimous vote of the membership and for that I am grateful.

    • Emergency Response Workgroup
      • Nov 2013 - Feb 2015

I have served as a Montgomery County representative to the SEPARTF. I served the Chairman of the Emergency Response Workgroup. I had been actively involved in the development of the FF Taskforces that we now have available to respond and assist our member counties. The entire workgroup has and continues to work on several “regional” projects that will better coordinate the region. Some of these projects included water supply compatibility, Hazardous Materials responses and USAR operations among others. With the workgroup reconfigurations at the end of 2013, we now welcome Emergency Medical Services to our group that also includes, Firefighting, Hazardous Materials and Urban Search and Rescue components.
