In my time at Aviva I have worked on the following:Transformation Programme – Test Defect Manager, Implementation Manager, Systems AnalystMigrate 10,000 users and 400 applications spanning all Business Areas firstly from Xenapp 4.0 platform to the HP owned Xenapp 5.0 Farm - Windows 2008, 64bit. My role was to work between the 2 teams as Systems Analyst and Test/Defect Manager, being the primary contact for all Business areas (predominantly offshore) and the HP technical team. As the only Systems Analyst I worked through from the discovery phase, application ownership, connectivity testing, role based testing UAT and Non Functional Testing and Go Live migrations. This role included all levels of troubleshooting and liaising with 3rd party vendors, collaborating with HP and internal Application Owners to remediate each defect to a satisfactory conclusion.A lot of time was spend Project Managing, running weekly progress/defect meetings for each Business area along side daily catch ups with each of the regions coordinators (Pune, Bangalore, Chennai, and Colombo). This also involved cascading progress to upper management and Business stakeholders. Also dealing with all aspects of Change Management and attending regular Release meetings. I wrote implementation plans for each migration and held regular check point meetings during each change as well as running post migration reviews after each Business had migrated.Office 2010 upgrade – Project Manager, Test Defect Manager, Implementation Manager, Systems Analyst Project and Test Managed a global Office XP to 2010 upgrade for all Xenapp users. This was following the same model as above for the same offshore business areas.Tech Refresh – Project Manager, Test Defect Manager, Implementation Manager, Systems Analyst - Xenapp 5 to Xenapp 6.5 (2008 r2 server) upgrade/migration as above

Working in the Citrix Projects team, responsible for Project Managing and delivering new infrastructure and modifying/upgrading existing as per business requirements. Involved from the initial cost estimate, leading to the design phase, the pre-production testing (user and performance) and then to final production build & configuration. liaising with all levels of the Business from Branch Users to Executive Management, working alongside 3rd Party Vendors to understand technologies. Responsible for integrating a wide variety of business applications into the RBS infrastructure (most of the time with little or no supporting documentation). As Lead Technical Analyst I provided technical assistance to other members of the team (Scotland, England and India based) who may have been experiencing problems or issues and often get involved in bringing projects back on track. Also as Lead Technical Analyst I was the initial point of contact for complex, high visibility or confidential projects at an early stage.I also mentored many of the staff in the Projects team, especially our India based colleagues.I was acting Deputy Manager for the Citrix and Server Hosted Application Server Teams in London, Scotland and India, and run regular 1-2-1 Project Update Meetings with the team to ensure that upper management are kept up to date with the weekly progress. I ran regular meetings to bring together the support and project team leaders to discuss any problems arising between the 2 teams as well building relations. As a change authoriser I was responsible for ensuring that any change records raised by the team complied with the appropriate governance and were technically and procedurally correct as to avoid any impact on the production environment.I am ITIL Accredited, with experience in Project Managing as well as running Recovery Meetings and Disaster Recovery events.
