Brian Henry
Dave and I first worked together at the Urban Forestry Administration in Washington, DC. Dave played a large role in UFA's adoption of tablets in the field and the transition to a GIS-based inventory system. Dave communicated daily with residents, contractors and government officials to ensure the urban forest was safe and canopy coverage was increased. Since his departure from the Washington DC area, Dave has thrived as the City Arborist and Tree Warden for Cambridge and continues to be involved with multiple state and national arboriculture organizations. He continues to balance a high level of commitment to the community while sharing his vast knowledge on a grand scale.
Christopher Hanson
David was an excellent chapter advisor for our Beta-Delta chapter at the University of Maryland. He worked closely with the undergraduate executive board and the alumni Board of Advisors. With his leadership, mentorship, and sound advice, the chapter was able to reach new levels of fraternal achievement.
